Transfer 8, Super 8 & 16 mm film reels to any
video format including VHS and DVD
When we receive your reels in our studio, we take following
steps:
Step 1. Cleaning the Films:
Whether you want to put your film to VHS, mini DV or
DVD all films are cleaned. This is important because
your film is saved from scratches that come in effect
as your film passes through the converter. The hair
and dust that come by during transfer process are cleaned
using pressurized air blow. Your films are examined
for any splicing need. We need a smooth transfer of
films when passing through the converter. Each roll
is passed separately through the machine. We do not
combine your reels.
Step 2. Processing:
Each frame of the film is converted to a video signal
and recorded over the desired medium of your choice.
We use video signal measuring equipments to measure
the brightness and color information in your film and
correct accordingly. The process is handled by a trained
technician.
Step3. Mastering:
Once the signal is processed, it can be mastered on
DVD, Mini DV or harddrive (AVI, MPEG, MOV)
